Development
Projects outsourced to RINF are managed according to well-defined lifecycles.
Our clients can either define the particular development methodology that they would like to use, or we would be happy to advise them on what we consider the most effective method.
We typically follow the general rules of Waterfall or Spiral software development methodology. Our staff also has experience with agile methodologies like eXtreme programming
Analysis and design verification
This is the first stage for every project. Our developers and project managers will meet with the client to understand the functionality, design and platform requirement.
These brainstorming sessions will help determine the business objectives. The initial scope of the project is then defined in terms of personnel needed, scheduling, costs and their implications on product development.
Coding and testing
This is the stage where the project is actually launched. Based on the agreed upon design and specifications, coding and testing plans are prepared.
Applications are built in increments. Depending on the project, prototypes are created and presented to the client. The prototype is functionally complete.
If a client accepts the prototype, software engineers start to write code and create graphic interfaces in accordance to approved design and specifications. Testing starts when the prototype is being constructed.
This is the phase when Quality Assurance Services verify any failures, defects, and compliance with coding standards. RINF will adjust to the coding standards delivered to us by the client.
Integration and documentation
Once the ready and unit-tested modules go into integration and integration test mode, the technical documentation to version is written. The allows for the administration and maintenance of code, and helps the client understand the underlying solutions.
Close monitoring of the system and applications ensures immediate response to any issues that may arise. If the client wishes, documentation will be written according to their own procedures and templates.
